Max Payne is a Poser

If you’ve seen the first “Max Payne” trailer and didn’t loved it to death, then these promo shots of Mark Wahlberg posing as Max Payne won’t do a whole lot for you. (And if you haven’t seen the trailer yet, head over here.) These photos showed up last week all over the net, but I’ve been waiting for bigger versions to come out to make a gallery out of them. Alas, that doesn’t seem forthcoming anytime soon, so here you go. Groovy little “Max Payne” promo shots via FirstShowing.

Coming together to solve a series of murders in New York City are a DEA agent (Wahlberg) whose family was slain as part of a conspiracy and an assassin (Kunis) out to avenge her sister’s death. The duo will be hunted by the police, the mob, and a ruthless corporation.

Avoid the payne October 18.

It’s been a while since I played the Max Payne games, but I’m pretty sure they patterned these promo shots directly from the game’s cut scenes.
