The moron who wrote the first film is not writing this one. Someone who has already has 4 successful movies prior to this feature wrote the script and is in the running to be director. Billy Zane was also left intentionally out of the running for the movie. without a doubt it will be better than the 90's version. The '96 film wasn't bad, but suffered from the same problems as "Dick Tracy" and "The Shadow," where the target audience really had no idea who he was. I imagine "The Spirit" ala Frank Miller, will suffer the same fate. Besides, it looks pretty crappy, too...
