What the heck has Megan Fox been doing with her time lately? Well, after getting banned from the “Transformers” franchise by the Mighty Bay (no one likes being called Hitler, amirite, Michael?), then making up with him, she’s now playing April O’Neil in the Bay-produced live-action “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot from “Battle Los Angeles’” Jonathan Liebesman. (I’m still waiting for a sequel to that movie, Liebesman!)

Check out four images from the movie featuring Fox as the ace reporter. That’s funnyman Will Arnett as her cameraman in one of the pics. I’m guessing he’s her cameraman cause she’s a reporter and he’s carrying a camera around. Unless he knocked out her cameraman and stole his camera. That’s entirely possible, too, I suppose.

Anyhoos. Check out the images below, and here’s a recent trailer for the movie, cause I know you crazy kids love your trailers:

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan

Also starring William Fichtner as Shredder and Tony Shalhoub as a talking kung fu rat.

The turtles save the city August 8th.

Anyone else notice Fox is in 2 Big screen remakes of 80′s properties? Must have a serious love of the 80′s. Next up Teela in Masters of the universe.

Anyone notice this is the second 80s franchise Michael Bay is fucking up?

Meh. Didn’t hate TFs. I didn’t expect or WANT the cartoon to be translated to the screen exactly as it was. 20+ years have gone by and a lot has changed. He did the transformers justice, but the stories were rather weak all around, and not enough character building with the TFs. However that said they did a lot right by adding the military aspect and showing how much destruction and chaos their existence and battles cause on Earth. I would STILL love a film series depicting stuff on Cybertron. NOT connected to this version though, because that was one part of the franchise I didn’t like was their take on Cybertron and the look and everything else. They didn’t transform on their home world.
I’m actually liking what I see of TMNT so far. Again change is good if it tells a good story. So hopefully we at least get that.

I liked the first Transformers, second one was ok, I liked the NEST bit.
But yeah Michael Bay confuses effects with plot lines, subpar filmaker. He need to go to the low budget indie scene for a few years.

Second one is the one I DON’T own yet. When I see it for like $3 on Blu-ray I will get it. LOL. I liked the third one too, but wished they had done more with the actual TFs.
I would love a movie like the War and Fall of Cybertron games.

          • Aegon the Conqueror

I HATED the third one! Absolutely HATED it! Felt I had wasted my money, but at the time 3D was so damn expensive in SA there was no way I could walk out.
Everything about that movie annoyed me, including the new female lead, man her acting ability made Megan Fox look like Julia Roberts.

Oh see, I stopped paying attention to anyone who wasn’t in NEST or John Turturro after the second film.
