Megan Fox Calls Wonder Woman Lame, Refuses Role

Despite the fact that everyone knows Megan Fox would make a great Wonder Woman (if only to fill out the costume; I’m not even touching that whole, “Can she or can’t she?” when it comes to the acting thing, cause to be honest with you, Fox is so living off the Jessica Alba train here it’s not even funny), the actress herself has apparently said that she would never play the role. Why? Because Wonder Woman is “lame”, apparently.

Rumors IMDB:

Fox is reportedly in the running to play the lead role, but the Transformer star is adamant she will not get involved with the comic book adaptation.

She tells British magazine FHM, “She’s lame. She flies around in an invisible jet, but she’s not invisible. I don’t get it.”

The jet is invisible, but she’s not. What’s there to “get”?

I don’t subscribe to FHM, so I can’t tell you if Fox really did say this as IMDB claims, or if they’re just making this up. IMDB is like the British tabloids, you have to take what they say with a grain of salt.

In any case, it’s not like Fox hasn’t put herself out there. Her biggest roles to date have been as the eye candy in the “Transformers” movies, as a saloon floozy in the upcoming “Jonah Hex”, and pretty soon she’ll be spending most of her time in a bikini for her role in “Fathom”. So, er, what’s the whole issue of not wanting to play Wonder Woman again? Oh right. The invisible jet.

Whatever. It does give me another excuse to post this, though, and that’s always a good thing.
