Megan Fox is a Drug Mule in The Crossing

The Crossing Movie — By Nix on April 15, 2009

Looks like Megan Fox is trying to star in every movie ever made for the next five years or so. Or at least it seems that way. The “Transformers” star has signed on for yet another starring role, this time in the thriller “The Crossing”, which will see the foxy Fox playing a wife whose husband is abducted by Mexican bad guys who then forces her to smuggle heroin into the States in order to free him. She does as she’s told, but comes back with a shotgun and kills them all. Okay, maybe not so much the last part, but possibly something Ellen Ripley-ish like that happens at the end of the movie. Or maybe not.

THR says the script is by Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi, and Jeff Okin will produce the thriller for Screen Gems pictures. Quotes the studio people about Fox’s casting:

The part “requires a vulnerability to make you care about her but a kind of strength to make you believe she can pull off the things she needs to,” he said. “And Megan has both a vulnerability about her and an unbelievable strength.”

You can add this project to Fox’s starring roles in “Transformers 2″, “Jennifer’s Body”, “Passion Plays”, “Jonah Hex”, and of course, the geek fantasy movie of all time, “Fathom”. Like I said — girlfriend is keeping mighty busy.

Below: Yeah, smuggling heroin is definitely the first thing I’d make Megan Fox do too if I could make her do anything I wanted. Yup.
