Megan Fox to Save Mickey Rourke in Passion Plays

Megan Fox is apparently so hot that she can even save a lost cause like Mickey Rourke from himself. Or something like that. The “Transformers” star, who seems to be wanting mightily to move away from her sexpot image (though roles in the upcoming wet bikini-heavy “Fathom” and “Jennifer’s Body” probably won’t help that any), will be starring in an indie drama called “Passion Plays” alongside Rourke.

Rourke will play a down-on-his-heels trumpet player, and Fox will play an angel in 1950s Los Angeles, with Rourke finding redemption in Fox after he attempts to save her from a gangster. Those familiar with the project describe it as a dramatic but heartwarming tale.

The article goes on to describe Fox’s character as “a slender beauty with wings who is part of a carnival.” So, er, is she an actual angel or isn’t she? And if she’s an angel, how does she become imperiled by mortal “gangsters”? I’m so confused and intrigued at the same time.

But you know one thing I’m not confused about? Megan Fox is really, really easy on the eyes, even though I find her addiction to tattooing quotes on her body to be mildly disturbing.
