Michael Jackson’s Thriller is Being Made into a Movie


Hey, why not? They made a boatload of money after the guy died, I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t raid his catalog, especially his most famous music video, and try to make a movie out of it. Sorry, Michael, but you won’t be resting anytime soon, buddy, not even in death. Just ask Elvis Presley and Tupac, who is, as we speak, coming out with his 50th posthumous rap album tomorrow.

The plot of a “Thriller” movie? Something along the lines of …

…it has to do with the song’s folklore, involving Vincent Price and the town he grew up in.

According to Deadline, GK Films is trying to snatch up rights to the music video, with Kenny Ortega attached to direct and “The Hangover” writer Jeremy Garelick ready to take a shot at the script.

But the question is, will there be lots of people dressed up in zombie make-up doing the “Thriller” dance? Cause you know, if there isn’t, I’m gonna be feeling pretty gyp…

    This movie would’ve been awesome in 1984 or so. But in this day and age, all I can picture is Jaden Smith, CG zombies and were-man transformations, and 3D.
