According to Rob Zombie’s Myspace page, it only took him and the cast and crew of “H2″, the sequel to his “Halloween” reboot 35 days to shoot the sequel. 35 days! I didn’t think major Hollywood productions could shoot movies in 35 days anymore unless it was a Clint Eastwood shoot. In any case, along with letting us know that the movie has wrapped production (which means the sequel will hit theaters in about five months), Zombie gave us our first glimpse of Michael Myers in his famous mask. It is, of course, scarred and ripped, because that’s just how Rob Zombie rolls, bitches.
The sequel sees Scout Taylor-Compton returning as Laurie Strode, the obsession of unstoppable killing machine Michael Myers (Tyler Mane). Heroes’ Brea Grant and Angela Trimbur help fill out the cast of would-be victims as Laurie’s new roommates. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say they don’t make it to another sequel.
Starring Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Daeg Faerch, Bill Fagerbakke, Daniel Roebuck, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Chris Hardwick, Ezra Buzzington, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, and directed by Rob Zombie.
