Mike Myers is Another One of Tarantino’s Bastards

And yes, ladies and gentlemen, the hits just keeps on coming. How many future articles can we create titles for, where we simply plug an actor’s name in with some variation of the “Tarantino’s Bastards” phrasing? I don’t know, but we (as in, myself and every other lazy bastard on the net who indulges in this “movie news” stuff) will certainly try to push it to its limit, and once it hit its limit, we’re sure to go beyond it. Why? Cause that’s just how we roll, bitches. So who is next on Tarantino’s Bastardization list? How about the Love Guru himself, Mike Myers. Yes, the guy from SNL who played Austin Powers. That Mike Myers. Not the masked killer one. That guy is, like, not even real, what are you dudes thinking?

Variety has more on your wacky casting:

Mike Myers has been recruited by Quentin Tarantino to join the ensemble cast of “Inglorious Bastards,” the Tarantino-scripted pic that the Weinstein Co. and Universal will put into production Oct. 13 in Germany.

Myers will play British Gen. Ed Fenech, a military mastermind who takes part in hatching a plot to wipe out Nazi leaders.

Myers joins a bastard cast that already includes Brad Pitt in the lead, along with director Eli Roth, Simon Pegg, Nastassja Kinski, David Krumholtz and B.J. Novak.

Geez, Quentin, whose next on your hit list — Paris Hilton? That would be, like, so hot. Plus, I heard she could be a real bastard if given the opportunity. Plus, she could provide free gratuitous nudity and stuff.
