Milla Jovovich and Kiele Sanchez Join A Perfect Getaway
A Perfect Getaway (2009) Movie — By Nix on March 24, 2008 |
Milla Jovovich (pictured, right) finally gets to shake off her “futuristic ass kicker chick” personality for that of a dutiful wife in David Twohy’s “A Perfect Getaway”. Jovovich joins former Lost star Kiele Sanchez (pictured, below) as the feminine touch on the thriller, which sees Zahn and Jovovich as newlyweds stalked by killers played by “Hitman’s” Timothy Olyphant and Sanchez. All of it takes place in Hawaii, which, if you had to be stalked by killers, is definitely the place to be. (Oh who are we kidding. Milla Jovovich’s character will probably end up having to take on the killers all by herself in the end. I mean, who are you going to depend on, Steve friggin’ Zahn???)
More:
Jovovich and Sanchez join Timothy Olyphant and Steve Zahn in the thriller, which revolves around a newlywed couple on their honeymoon in Hawaii who run into two hikers who turn out to be vicious killers.
Jovovich will play Zahn’s new wife, while Sanchez will play Olyphant’s companion.
David Twohy (”Pitch Black”, “The Chronicles of Riddick”) will write and direct the movie.

Hola!
Been there and done that. Was able to see and take pictures of Milla and me together at the Ligthouse in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.I was honored to be able to participate with Milla and all members of the staff while they were filming the movie. They were all awesome and professional staffs and really down to earth people.
While “The Perfect Getaway” got some decent reviews and had a low-but-passable opening weekend, the box office for its second weekend was not good. If you are a Milla Jovovich fan like I am, you’d better get to a theater to see it right away or be prepared to wait until it is released on DVD. I don’t think it will stay in the first run theaters for long.
