Milla Jovovich in Horror Flick Mile Zero

Horror Movie News, Mile Zero Movie — By Nix on March 10, 2009

Milla Jovovich and two-fisted gunplay go together like peanut butter and jelly, and anyone who has tasted PBJ know that that combination is pretty awesome stuff. Now I don’t know if Milla will get to grab herself a couple of guns and go to town in the new movie “Mile Zero”, but I’m guessing director Marcel Langenegger is going to take full advantage of our heroine’s ability to kick ass and look good doing it.

THR says “Mile Zero” is an original horror screenplay by Holly Brix, and will star Jovovich as a young woman who takes a job on an Alaskan oil rig so she can prove her father’s innocence in a series of murders. My guess is that some evil spirit is the culprit. Or heck, as is the popular cliche nowadays, that pesky oil rig has defiled Mother Nature to the point where she’s sent a ninja after them. A really cool, blend into the ice type ninja. Preferably played by Sho Kosugi. I could be wrong, of course.

Marcel Langenegger, who last directed the lackluster and should have been sent directly to DVD movie “Deception” (you know, the erotic thriller minus all the erotic stuff?), will develop the project for Phoenix Pictures, while the people at Benderspink will produce. Speaking of which, I got me a Benderspink once. Cost $20 bucks, but it was worth it.

There is no start date for “Mile Zero” as yet.
