Nicholas Winding Refn’s “Drive” always had that ’80s/anachronistic vibe about it, so I guess it makes sense that when Mondo applied their creative ways to it, the resulting poster would look like something straight out of a time warp, wacky hot pink font included. Check out artist Ken Taylor’s version of the “Drive” poster below, and you’ll see what I mean.
The poster is being released in honor of Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo teaming up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Film District for a special screening of “Drive”. Coincidentally, the movie recently landed on DVD and Blu-ray yesterday. What a coincidence, huh?
There are 445 prints of the “Drive” poster below that will go on sale starting this Thursday. They each measure 24×36 if you have the cash.
