More Car Pics from The Fast and Furious 4

The Fast and the Furious 4 (2009) Movie — By Nix on April 11, 2008

Besides the plot of Justin Lin’s upcoming “The Fast and Furious 4″ sequel (his second in the franchise, for those keeping track), the other big topic of discussion about the movie are the cars that will be making appearances in the film. We’ve already posted a lot of the cars that will be showing up, and here are even more cars courtesy of NoBueno Photography, who stumbled across the set in Downtown Los Angeles when the production was shooting next to his work. Hey, how come that never happens to me?

Today while leaving work I noticed a parking lot full of movie cars and equiptment. Of course you know I had to investigate. Turns out they were staging cars for the Fast & Furious 4 filming tonight in Downtown LA. I’m not a big fan of the movie series but I try to not to miss a photo op.

I think they should do an helicopter shot of about 1 car doing this 150mph+ shot, you know for safety concerns. You dont want 2 cars doing it on the same road, not SAFE! The car should have underbody neon so that the audience can see this car coming thru the night like a lightning bolt!

as a fan of fast and the furious…il have to say i love the movies..but me and my dad think that they should make a fast and furious movie based on muscle cars…not those lil toys that my camaro could stomp ..which is saying sumthign seeing as a week ago me and my dad flipped it 7 times..going too fast…of course..but the V-8 is still good…which could stomp the “toys”…just stating a opinion…but i love the movies other than that…

Obviously you know nothing of the power that can come from a little 4 banger. Your huge V8 can be smoked continuously by a little 1.6L 4cyl engine. Live with that knowledge, and maybe your camaro rebuild will be something worth while.

    • Japattack says:

Lol, a camaro? hmm lets see, its far too heavy, doesnt know the meaning of the word suspension, cant put the power to the floor and rev’s at far too little rpm..

Any jap car tuned to the average american muscle of 450bhp would abso-fucking-lutely destroy any muscle car (albeit the mitsu evo-8 fq 400..idiots gave it too much turbo lag)

But then again, take the british Radical or Ariel Atom, 200bhp, WOULD PWN YOUR AMERICAN MUSCLE.. why? Jap engines in a lightweight bodyshell

ill say stay with the evolution in gunmetal or an subaru sti in white that’s hot

Camaro Gurl – stick to things you may actually know about… like opening your legs. Muscle cars are heavy and are not great in handling/braking. Imports are very light, have lightweight motors, and superior handling/braking. I love muscle cars as well. I even own a TBSS (midsize SUV with a LS2 Corvette motor) and I know that most all american muscle cars would get stomped by imports, even if they have the same type of mods. The new Nissan GTR coming to america this fall goes 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. If you ever see a muscle car do the same with only a twin turbo set-up I’d be amazed.

Hey I think we all know that speed is a result of power to weight ratio, then simply what size of engine you run. Most muscle cars will have an advantage in a drag enviroment, because there is no need to be able to turn. Beside if you have enough time and money any car can be fast. Suspsion $1000.00, bolt ons upgrades $3000.00, TT set up tune $8000.00 – looking over to loser in there civic with a loud exhaust before you blow right by them…

    Priceless.

Or maybe that loser has some crazy setup and I get blown by… It can happen. Don’t down play anyone car, cause you never know when a stock looking car will be more than you expected. Like 412 rwhp.

is there any evos here? exspecially the evo x or any other lots of street-racing-japanesecar(so i’ve seen the skyline) i’m not really an american-muscle-car-anthusiast Lol even i know in the end they’ll be using an american car instead(see what happens in the previous movies:fast furious,2f2F,tokyo drift Lol if you know what i mean..)^_^

let me be the first to give you a high five

    lol that was epic

people think about it in the end what do you see in the D1 championships in any of the drift comps the muscle’s get wiped the floor with

and yes the muscles wipe the floor with JDM’s on a drap strip most the time but then you have to think you could spend the same amount on a JDM and a muscle for drag and most the time what would be better ? yes the JDM secondly if you spent the same amount on muscle and JDM for drift setup what would be better ? the JDM it is a known fact the muscle’s are weak in cornering but the power issue can easily be fixed with any car any car has huge potential for power

and thirdly let me be the first to say CAMARO GURL JUST GOT OWNED!!!!!

    • Japattack says:

Muscles generally win in drag racing due to their F/R setup.. front engine keeping the front glued to the floor whilst their fat rear tyres and axles give them grip to nail it down the straight.

If, for example, you took a decent rear wheel drive jap car, like a Supra turbo, and fitted it with back wheels and tyres the same size and thickness of a muscle, it could be tweaked to 1000+ bhp running pure torque and completely shit over it

  • juno says:

they should bring that orange supra back and smoke all the cars

  • Nury says:

eva or michelle? these babes still the hottest, please take them in the newest fast n furious saga ( i quote this(saga) from the star wars 2xtrilogy i hope they’ll do the same thing on this movie)Amin ..^-^
