More Details on the Tekken Movie

Written by Nix | December 20th, 2007 | 1 Comment |

After it was reported online about, oh, six months ago, Variety has finally confirmed that director Dwight Little will be helming the live-action “Tekken” movie. They also tell us a little bit more the film’s plot from a script by Alan McElroy (the “Wrong Turn” movies).

More:

“The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people,” Little told Daily Variety. “It’s a gladiator story, but the videogame has a complicated enough storyline that it provides the template for a martial arts spectacular.”

Little is no stranger to martial arts movies, having previously directed everything from Bruce Lee’s son in “Rapid Fire” to the Pony Tail One in “Marked for Death”.
