More Dragonball Images: Master Roshi, Bulma, and Yamcha!
Dragonball: Evolution (2009) Movie — By Nix on May 22, 2008
The guys over at Dragonball The Movie fansite has landed more scans from Weekly Young Jump magazine (I think that’s a magazine, although the title doesn’t really make sense) that shows more characters from the movie, including Chow Yun Fat as Master Roshi, Emmy Rossum as Bulma, and Yoon Park as Yamcha. And yes, another good look at Justin Chatwin as Goku. Is it me or does Goku look a whole lot like Elijah Wood from the “Lord of the Rings” movie?
A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather’s dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.
The ball is unleashed in 2009.

Hold on what happened to James Kyson Lee(original actor for Yamcha)? Master Roshi does not wear Hawiian shirts in the anime but i guess it’s a nice change. Emmy Rossum looks hot and Justin Chatwin’s hair is good. But no Krillin and Tien.
he so does wear hawaiian shirts!!!!
One more thing Joon Park looks too old for Yamcha. Yamcha’s a teenager not some dude in his mid 30’s.
I know right!? Isn’t he supposed to be Bulma’s age, or a little older?! Casting is suck.
unleashed strait to …DVD
Yea, Yamcha’s suppose to be a teenager….. and Goku is suppose to be a kid…..
Man with his hair like that, it makes it forehead look HUGE haha
No, Let me correct on that dude…if you know your Dragonball history,
you would know that the movie is during the Piccolo Jr Saga and during that time goku was a full grown YOUNG man…SEE FOR YOURSELF. Watch episode 133 of Dragonball.
its about it someone know what they are talking about i cant stand these hater
All I can say is……wow. It takes balls…Dragon-sized Balls to put out this poster with a straight face.
Speed Racer is about to get some company…
AE.
Why don’t they just change the movie’s name to “Speed Bomb” instead?
At least that way it’ll probably do a little better in Asia than it will now
How about Dragon Bomb Priverson? Does anyone know what to to happened to James Kyson Lee? I can’t stand looking at his replacement. He was way better and younger. I don’t why Toriyama won’t sue or boycott. Funimation should at least.
what is needed is vegeta (vicious, relntless killer) film looks good apart from no vegeta
I hate how, fox looks like they are gonna ABSOLUTELY ruin this movie and stray as far from the story as possible….yet ‘cos im a MASSIVE fan i’m gonna waste money and sit through this rubbish film…and the worst part?! i’m gonna enjoy it!…yeah, it won’t deserve to be called dragonball but i’ll LOVE it and wait patiently for the sequels like everyone else….cos we are mugs and FOX knows it. grrr….. peace!
thats what im talking bout im still gone see it to. i just hope the special effects are worth it. Where r the muscles that some of the cast suppose to have? See they messing up all ready DAMN!!!!
why does everybody dis this movie? so much things like “its too different from the source blah blah”, and like goku is not buff blah blah, its dragonball… not dragonball z… they can get a new actor for Z, but for now goku needs to be young and thin.
and for the hair and costumes… search “goku cosplay” on google, look at the pics, nomatter how good the costume and hair is, it still looks SILLY! dbz costumes and hair would suck in live action.
and about not using asians for goku… even in the anime goku doesnt look asian…
and im gonna puke if piccolo has green skin, wears his costume and has feelers.
imagine someone walking around in that getup…
doesnt matter if it doesnt pleases DB fans, this movie isnt for them, its FOR THE WORLD. and the world likes something they can relate to, so ty for enrolling goku in school XD
A Dragonball movie’s that’s not made for DB fans but for the world…how dumber can xericho get?
Besides, DB fans is basically the world now.
