More Explosive Images From The Avengers Set

Captain America aka Chris Evans saves the day on the Cleveland set (standing in for New York City, if you can believe it) of Joss Whedon’s superhero/team-up spectacular “The Avengers”. Some great shots of Evans in costume and in action, along with a groovy video showing him fighting two guys wearing motion-capture suits. Looks like aliens aplenty in “The Avengers” would be my guess.

The world’s first live-action (and respectable) superhero team-up is due May 4th, 2012, and stars Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg, and Cobie Smulders.

    While I´m pretty confident that this movie will rock…the pic above with Cap in fron of the explosion looks like straight out of Albert Pyun´s 80´flick.
