You know what’s looking pretty badass? The “G.I. Joe” sequel, dubbed “Retaliation”. Mind you, I’m not saying the film will knock the box office on its butt the way “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises” are guaranteed to, but it’s definitely worth looking out for this Summer. Until then, check out a new batch of character posters and fresh images from what looks to be a very, very action-heavy sequel courtesy of director Jon Chu. If he pulls this off, I’m going to forgive him for subjecting the world to those miserable, unGodly awful “Step Up” movies.
The sequel finds Cobra up to their usual world-dominating shenanigans, with only the Joes standing in their way. Times are tough for the Joes, what with the Evil President (a secret Evil Cobra) trying to arrest and kill them and all that stuff. But they’re Joes, so you know, just another day at work
