Why is there a giant spaceship in this new IMAX poster for Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction”? Heck, why were there spaceships in the movies at all? I mean, they’re robots that can transform into vehicles. Do they really need, I don’t know, to have their own spaceships, too? I always found that a little odd. Isn’t it like a human being climbing into another human being? Anyways, I’m probably overthinking it. This is a film series about transforming robots from outer space, after all.
Check out the new IMAX poster for “Age of Extinction” below. I have no idea if that’s Megatron or some other robot. Megatron never really looked like Megatron from the cartoons I remember, so it was always a bit of a crapshoot for me to identify Megatron in the last three movies.
An automobile mechanic and his daughter make a discovery that brings down the Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official – on them.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, T.J. Miller, Sophia Myles, Peter Cullen, Peter Cullen, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Bingbing Li, and Kelsey Grammer.
The robots are coming (back) this June 27th.
