More Tekken Movie Images

Movie Images, Tekken (2010) Movie — By Nix on February 21, 2009

Reader Mike via the a Luke Goss fan forum sent over this link to someone’s Myspace page that has more first looks at actors from the upcoming live-action “Tekken” movie posing as their characters. Present and accounted for are Marian Zapico as Anna Williams, Cung Le as Marshall Law, Ian Anthony Dale as Kazuya, Gary Daniels as Bryan Fury, Luke Goss as Steve Fox, some extras, and plenty of random images from the “Tekken” set.

A high-octane action movie about a young man who discovers he holds a great power and must battle a team of elite fighters who will stop at nothing in order to get it from him.

Dwight H. Little directs.

More images from the Myspace page here. It’s not the official site and I have no idea where he got them, but they seem to all be from the “Tekken” set. The Luke Goss pic is said to be from “Tekken” as well. (via the Luke Goss Forum)

    well that sucks for dbz…

hope that this thing would not…

Those hairstyles would look ridiculous. No one will take any of it seriously, and I think they actually want this to be serious. Law didn’t get the handlebar mustache until 2. Or maybe this is actually supposed to be Forest as he’s closer in age to Jin. Ah well I’m not exactly a Tekken fan (was never very good) but my friends are and this looks much better than either DOA or SF, SF: The Legend of Chun Li. Cary Tagawa as Hiehachi is perfect, signature hair be dammned, he’ll look fine with plain long locks like he did in Mortal Kombat. From Shang Tsung to Hiehachi. HELL YEAH!!

man this is gunan be sweet to bad they didnt remake the animated prequel first but oh well i hope this gunna be as good as it should be been waitin 5 years for this

  • Five says:

    I’m sure this’ll be entertaining.
But, the only reason why video game movies suck nowadays is because some of us expect it to be exactly like the games.
I just hope this’ll be entertaining and whatnot. Haha.

(And come on, guys. We don’t want a bunch of goofy looking guys with weird haircuts.)

I love tekken, the characters look great in my opinion but some could use touch ups to make them look more like the game characters, I just wish Sergei Dragunov would be in the film.

Is it too much to ask that someone make an Asian-centric movie w/out Cary Tagawa? Seriously though, I’m curious to see how well the real-lief martial artists do as actors. Good to see Gary Daniels still kicking around and Jon Foo was pretty good in “House of Fury” if I recall.

From the Director of “Rapid Fire”… and “Marked For Death…”

    • Dedpool says:

Tekken isn’t really an “Asian-centric movie” but I understand what you’re saying. I would say why is it everytime you need an Asian villain it’s Tagawa? But the answer is…because he’s the best! LOL. Although a friend suggested Ken Watanabe in the role, which would’ve been interesting. But Tagawa is just the man at being a badass villain. AND he’s aged very well. I can’t wait to see this. Everyone’s putting it down but the fact that there are real fighters, and they’re staying true to the look and premise of the games says alot. Also read a break down of a teaser trailer at io9.com

Saw it, loved it; the whole story line and fight scenes rocked. It is worth waiting to see believe me !!! Tagawa rocked in his role and so did Luke Goss; but the film centered around (Jin) Jon Foo character so allot of the Game character where not present or spotlighted from a distance. If they do not do a second movie I will be shocked, it was that good !!! Check out Luke Goss official site for fab pic of the Tekken Premier and Luke private Party to Launch his new Production company G Productions. His first movie will be “Eye of the King” the sneak peak trailer is on Luke site.

Glad to hear it’s that good. I had high hopes for this. Esecially after the disasters that were “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” and “Dragonball Evolution.” When is it supposed to hit theatres? Is it hitting theatres?
