More Than Just Zombies, it’s XXXombies!

When I read this story on MTV, I knew the name Rick Remender sounded familiar. A brief run to Wikipedia solved the mystery: Remender is a former animation writer turned comic book scribe, and one of his books is “Gigantic”, one of the few titles I currently read. (Although I have to admit, “Gigantic” started out gangbusters, but the most recent issue was not so hot…) Anyways, Remender has a new movie based on one of his comics that he’s trying to get Hollywood to bite on called … “XXXombies”.

So what exactly could the plot of a movie called “XXXombies” be about? Gee, I dunno. MTV takes a not-so-wild swing at the premise:

…an adult film’s cast and crew fighting for their lives during a zombie invasion.

Finally, those over inflated funbags will come in handy. I mean, besides for the other thing. You know, beating off zombies.

According to Remender, he’s currently polishing up the script for “XXXombies” with co-creator Kieron Dwyer, although there is no official word on anyone from Hollywood biting as yet. But come on, zombies on an adult film set? The premise sells itself.
