I mean, it was 1995 and you reviewed it in 2003. Of course, you were going to judge it differently. You've seen better CGI since then and much better adaptations. So, all of the people who read this are going to read what you thought of a film that came out 8 years ago. You're not giving the film much credit. Even though, it had a nice box office gross overall. Also, something else you missed was that every cast member except Linden Ashby and Bridgette Wilson had martial arts experience. Robin Shou is a master in Kenpo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa created his own form of self-defense, Chris Casamassa is known for his martial arts and he's a black belt in at least 7 forms of it.
