Hey there. I’m the artist of the Whiteout graphic novel. First off- thanks for the attribution! A lot of sites covering the movie don’t take the trouble to mention the guys who did the comic.

In response to B.L. Wooldridge above, Kate Beckinsale’s playing Carrie Stetko, a U.S. Marshal. She’s an American in the comic as well as the movie. There’s a supporting character in the comic who is British, Lily Sharpe, but she isn’t in the movie. Her place in the story is filled by Gabriel Macht.

I’m not sure if this is a real poster for the movie or if it’s just a really nice design by a fan. I covered this today on my studio’s blog:

Beckinsale’s character from “Whiteout” is British in the comic book, right? Why not just keep her British? Oh, well…
