Movie Trailer: Keanu Reeves’ Street Kings

Keanu Reeves does gritty. Whoa! Well, okay, that’s the premise of David Ayer’s latest L.A. cop saga, “Street Kings” (formerly known as “The Night Watchman”). Whether Keanu, who still sounds like he’s reading his lines phonetically to me, can pull it off is another matter. I’m gonna lean towards “Nah”, but then again, he could surprise me. In any case, the first trailer for “Street Kings” has appeared online.

A disgraced cop discovers corruption inside a police department and sets out on a mission to redeem himself.

Starring Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans and Common, and directed by David Ayer.
