Movie Trailer: National Treasure 2 - Book of Secrets

I can’t say I’m really a big, BIG fan of the first “National Treasure”. I didn’t even get around to seeing the first one until it hit DVD, and I was mildly entertained, but not wholly impressed. To wit: I wasn’t really looking for a sequel, but hey, no one ever asks me what I want, so here’s the latest (first full) trailer for “National Treasure: Book of Secrets”, which returns Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, and the original director, Jon Turteltaub. I think the computer hacker in the sequel is the same one from the first, but, um, I don’t remember enough things about the first one to say that for sure.

The plot:

Treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth’s diary.

Starring Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, Ed Harris, Helen Mirren, Justin Bartha, and directed by Jon Turteltaub.
