Movie Trailer: The Echo Remake

Written by Nix | June 20th, 2008 | 2 Comments |

Yam Laranas’s “The Echo” seems to be flying under the radar. It’s a remake of a Filipino horror movie of the same name, directed by the guy who did the original (that seems to be a trend with Hollywood nowadays; besides, you know, unnecessarily remaking Asian horror movies, I mean). Someone sent a kinda-review for the movie to us a while back, and it’s occurred to me that I have yet to post a trailer for the movie. So here it is. Don’t ever say I never did anything for you kids.

An ex-con moves into an old apartment building, where he encounters a domestic problem involving a police officer, his wife, and their daughter. When he tries to intervene, however, a mysterious curse entraps him.

Jesse Bradford stars as the ex-con, who may or may not be losing his mind the way his mom did when she went missing. Since this is a horror movie, I’m gonna guess that no, the ex-con isn’t losing his mind. But hey, I could be wrong. I often am.

There is no domestic release date for “The Echo” as yet.
