This new director fails horribly if he thinks recasting Fred Krueger is actually a good thing for the new film. If Robert Englund isn't Freddy Krueger then fuck this shit. I've stood around while other movies got shit-bucket remakes but his just disgusts me. Hell no. I mean seriously.. Robert Englund is a great actor and knows Freddy better than anyone. Hell he is one of ONLY two actors to have portrayed the same horror character eight consecutive times and the only person to ever done the Freddy Krueger guise in all of the movies. Englund knows Freddy inside and out and has numerously stated how well he connected with the character and the success gained since his initial debut as the Burned alive Child Killer. A Nightmare on Elm Street without Robert Englund = Shit floating in water. This remake is crap.
