New Batch of Images for The Darkest Hour

Chris Gorak’s “The Darkest Hour” is the kind of movie I’m reasonably certain I’ll get a big kick out of. Heck, I’m one of those guys who actually liked “Battle: Los Angeles” simply because it gave me exactly what it promised: “Black Hawk Down” with aliens. Okay, so it wasn’t nearly as gory as the Ridley Scott movie, but close enough. “The Darkest Hour” looks like a breezy alien invasion movie where pretty much everyone is going to die except the two leads. Hey, I can dig it. Speaking of which, dig a new batch of images from the upcoming sci-fi movie.

THE DARKEST HOUR follows five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D action-thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects from the minds of visionary filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (WANTED, NIGHT WATCH) and director Chris Gorak.

Starring Rachael Taylor, Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Joel Kinnaman, Dato Bakhtadze, Yuriy Kutsenko, Artur Smolyaninov, and Nikolay Efremov.

Surviving the holidays December 25, 2011.
