New Batch of Images from Director Yam Laranas’ The Road

U.S. audiences will have an opportunity to experience Yam Laranas’ superbly crafted horror flick “The Road” when it arrives in select theaters on May 11th, 2012. However, if the film isn’t playing in a theater near you, don’t beat your misshapen head against the wall. The film is getting a day-and-date release on Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon, YouTube, and iTunes, courtesy of the fine folks at Freestyle Releasing. That’s pretty freaking awesome.

You know you want to read the synopsis again:

A twelve year old cold case is reopened when three teens are missing in an abandoned road. In the course of the investigation, deeper and gruesome stories of abduction and murders are discovered. After more than two decades, the secrets of the haunted road may finally be revealed.

Check out my review of the flick by spelunking into this location. Otherwise, feel free to point your eyeballs to the images positioned beneath this passage.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided.
