Nicolas Cage and his trademark ticks return in “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”, the sequel to the little appreciated 2007 movie about a guy with a head full of fire. Hey, it beats going bald. Am I right, guys? Guys? Ahem. The studio has released a new batch of images from the forthcoming movie, due to burn up big screens February 17, 2012. Check them out, check them outers.

It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider.

Also starring Idris Elba, Violante Placido, Ciarán Hinds, Christopher Lambert, Fergus Riordan, Johnny Whitworth, and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.

Four of the new images below. See the rest in our “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” preview page.

Ghost Rider two? Im a huge comic book fan/collector and didnt really appreciate the movie. Is it possible that the sequel formula will be reversed in tis case? You know, the 2nd movie being better than the 1st? Hope so, Nick!
