So what’s Natasha Romanoff aka The Black Widow (aka Scarlett Johansson) been up to since helping the Avengers save New York? She’s still working for SHIELD alongside the good Captain, and there may or may not be a little something going on with them. Who knows, but check out a brief 90-second featurette focusing on the Black Widow.
Rumor has it Scarlett Johansson is now pregnant, which, to put it lightly, will put something of a crimp on her role in Joss Whedon’s upcoming “The Avengers: Age of Ultron.” After all, the Black Widow isn’t known for her ability to sit behind a computer keyboard typing, you know. Those tight, black leather outfits don’t wear themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Widow’s scenes got snipped in the upcoming “Avengers” sequel, or given to someone else to perform. Kinda hard to ask a pregnant woman to run through falling buildings or tossing around men by whirling around like the Tazmanian devil.
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” opens this April 4th from the brothers Russo. Chris Evans returns as Captain America, along with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Cobie Smulders, Robert Redford, and Sebastian Stan round out the cast.
