I really liked “Buried”. I thought it was a tight little thriller that did a lot with very, very little. Now “Buried” director Rodrigo Cortes is back with his next flick, “Red Lights”. And here is a new clip from the film that, while it doesn’t tell you much, introduces some main players, and sets a spooky, supernatural tone.

“Red Lights” premiered at Sundance, and is garnering some mixed reviews, but I haven’t read any of those because I don’t care. The premise is intriguing to me—a psychiatrist and her assistant who specialize in paranormal studies investigate a famous psychic—and with a cast the includes Sigourney Weaver, Robet DeNiro, Cillian Murphy, and Elizabeth Olsen, how can you not be at least a little intrigued?

We will see what comes for the film out of the festival, and hopefully we’ll get the chance to judge “Red Lights” for ourselves before too long.
