I guess now we know why Bryan Cranston is crying all over the other trailers and TV spots for Gareth Edwards’ “Godzilla.” Because, well, Godzilla sort of killed his wife. That’s gonna make anyone cry, I guess. Years later, Cranston is crying all over again when Godzilla re-appears and kills people with massive floods and starts dropping planes on people and what not. Seriously, Godzilla doesn’t know his own strength.
Check out a new, “extended” trailer for the movie, which features your best look at the big radioactive lizard yet. How good of a look? Well, the pic above is is a screenshot from the trailer. That’s pretty good. I know everyone already knows what Godzilla looks like, but the trailers and TV spots have been so coy about it, it’s kind of cool to finally see him.
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston.
Going back to the stone age this May 16th.
