New Images and Video Clips from Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone

Surprisingly, I’m really liking what I’m seeing of Ben Affleck’s directorial debut, “Gone Baby Gone”. The trailer looks good, and the cast looks to be made of stellar stuff. Is it possible that Affleck will finally achieve the critical acclaim as a director he never got as an actor? Well, anything’s possible. In any case, Miramax Films just sent us some new stills from the movie, including some behind-the-scenes images of Affleck doing his directorial duties, as well as links to five clips from the upcoming movie, set to open October 19th in the States.

“Gone Baby Gone” is Ben Affleck’s directorial debut and is based on the novel from the acclaimed author of “Mystic River.” It is an intense look inside an ongoing investigation about the mysterious disappearance of a little girl. Two young private detectives (Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan) are hired to take a closer look at the case and soon discover that nothing is what it seems. Ultimately, they will have to risk everything — their relationship, their sanity, and even their lives — to find a little girl-lost. The film also stars Academy Award Winner Morgan Freeman (”Million Dollar Baby”) and Academy Award Nominee Ed Harris (”Pollack”).

Starring Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, John Ashton, Robert Wahlberg, and is directed by Ben Affleck.
