It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means. Yup, new images from three movies you may or may not be interested in seeing. What? You didn’t know? We do this every Wednesday night. (Not really.) Curiously, it didn’t occur to me until I had finished putting in the images that all three movies have one thing in common: they are essentially Buddy Cop movies, with two male protagonists. Pure coincidence, let me assure you. (Or is it?)
This Means War:
Starring Chris Pine and Tom Hardy as CIA agents who wage an epic battle against one another after they discover they are dating the same woman, played by Reese Witherspoon. It must be the blonde perky cuteness. Guys love that stuff.
21 Jump Street:
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are a pair of underachieving cops are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring. Ice Cube co-stars as their potty mouth boss. Jonah Hill gets stabbed and run over with a car in this one, so if you hate Jonah Hill, there’s that.
Ryan Reynolds plays a young CIA agent tasked with looking after a fugitive (Denzel Washington) in a safe house. But when the safe house is attacked, he finds himself on the run with his charge. Essentially another badass role for Denzel. Hey, he does it well, so more power to him.
