New Images from Daybreakers

We haven’t heard a whole lot about the Spierig brothers’ “Daybreakers” since I posted that still from the movie back in August of 2007, but the boys over at Collider have found some more stills from the movie, and while it’s nothing to get excited about, it does show you more of the movie’s world. Sort of.

Ethan Hawke plays Ed, a researcher in the year 2017, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.

Starring Ethan Hawke, Vince Colosimo, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill, Claudia Karvan and directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig.
