New Images From Ji-woon Kim’s The Good, The Bad, and The Weird
Asian Movie News, The Good the Bad and the Weird (2008) Movie — By Nix on October 24, 2007 |
Three new images from Ji-woon Kim’s upcoming South Korean take on the spaghetti Western genre, “The Good, The Bad, and The Weird” have surface via Variety. The film itself is still in production, but it is shaping up to be some pretty good stuff — that is, if you like this kind of stuff, which I kinda do. More about it: “The movie set in Manchuria during the early 1900s, building off a string of Korean genre films from the 1970s that combined the aesthetics of the Western with outlaw movements aligned against Japanese colonial forces. Jung will play the good guy, a bounty hunter; while Lee will take the role of the bad guy, a hired gun- and swordsman; and Song will play the weird guy, a train robber who rides a motorcycle instead of a horse.”
