New Incredible Hulk Poster

The Incredible Hulk is scheduled to tear up theaters on June 13, 2008 once his Marvel buddy Iron man has done the deed a month before, but you can check out a brand spanking new poster for the film now. It’s a throwback to the TV series, with Bruce Banner (played by Edward Norton in this one) walking away with a satchel, as the Hulk looms over him. It actually looks quite nice. Too bad the movie will probably be one big CGI mess.

Physicist Bruce Banner takes flight in order to understand — and hopefully cure — the condition that turns him into a monster.

Norton hulks out on us June 13, 2008.

Edward Norton is playing Bruce Banner; he also re-wrote Zack Penn’s screenplay. The poster looks cool, but it seems very reminiscent of that classic John Romita, Sr. “The Amazing Spider-Man” cover.

I wholly agree the movie looks like a CGI mess. I mean I’m sorry but the back lash against CGI is around the corner. Lou Ferigno is a better Hulk than anything I’ve seen on the screen so far. At least I believed he existed in real time and space and was interacting with real environments!! There’s movie magic and then there’s Toy Story. The more everything goes digital the more I dust off older movies.
