Let’s face it, most people who have really, really wanted to see “Ong Bak 3″ have probably already found ways to see it by now. The film has been all over the festival circuit, including last month’s Fantastic Fest. But for those of you who still found ways to miss it, the film is due out on VOD and for download on various consoles December 3rd, 2010, and will be making its way into selected theaters January 14th, 2011 courtesy of Magnet Releasing. Here’s the latest poster.

Picking up at the cliffhanger ending where Ong Bak 2 leaves off, Tony Jaa ramps up the epic supernatural elements of the previous film, while still maintaining the trademark bone-crunching action that the series is known for. I’ve seen the trailer to this movie on Time Square in New York down in the subway station. They have a DVD Martial Arts store there and it’s very popular with the tourist and passing passengers on their way to and from work. Ong Bak 3 is shown on their large video screen outside of the store to draw customers in…and it works! I’ve been in there buying everything from Ong Bak 1 & 2 and getting 3 soon….the Crow like character is a bad mother and his skill is wicked demon like. IP Man 1, 2 & 3 they have on sale as well and check out True Legend if you can….this movie is great in the fighting and story wise.
