Check out a new pic from Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming “Thor” movie, featuring Chris Hemsworth as the titular Avenger-to-be looking ready to bust some heads with that giant hammer of his. I bet he’s just mad someone ate his pudding. Thor loves his pudding. Honest. Read the comics.

Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

“Thor” stars Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, Rene Russo, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Tadanobu Asano, Adriana Barraza, Joshua Dallas, Matt Battaglia, and is directed by Kenneth Branagh.

    Nice!

Anyone else find it interesting that Marvel is flooding the internet with images from all of their upcoming movies (including Spiderman which is still a year away) and yet we haven’t seen a single piece of official promotion for X-Men First Class???

    Me thinks I smell a crapper… and I really hope I’m wrong cause I love the x-men!

Well in all fairness I think the Spiderman one was to test the waters and see fan reaction to the suit. Cap was much the same, but they’re well into filming, if not post production. And Thor is done and in post production for SFX. X-men: First Class is in mid-production, and I dont think there are any real ccostumes per say for the film. There’s wardrobe, and I’m sure someone will be sporting something a bit out of the oridinary but no uniforms or anything like that.

      • Shazam!

I totally agree with you in that they’re put out to test reactions… but I’m just talking about simple acknowledgement that the film exists! : )
I’m not expecting uniforms… but a poster would be nice… or an official logo!
Thor only comes out month before X-men… and we haven’t seen a thing! Sure the Green Lantern presentation at CC was lack luster, but at least they were there! We heard the oath, we got some cool teaser posters, etc.

I’ve seen more pictures of Tim Burton’s long dead Superman movie than X-men! How proud is Fox of this movie?

Sad to say but I think you are 100% right. X-Men: First Class will be a piece of garbage. Everything that fans of the X-Men want in a prequel will be missing. No original line up of course. No original uniforms (blue and gold). The only thing about this movie that I am looking forward to is a glimpse at the Xavier/Magneto friendship. Both Fassbender and McAvoy have the chops to pull off the performances, I just hope that the script doesn’t ruin that.

There have been on set pics, but no official release pics. That said I haven’t been holding this movie in high regards anyhow. Ah well.
