New Poster and an Extended (and Patriotic) TV Spot for Red Dawn

Red Dawn (2012) Movie Poster

Check out a new poster and what is being officially called the “patriotic” trailer for the upcoming “Red Dawn” remake. Which is, uh, somewhat redundant, right? Isn’t the whole movie already gratuitously patriotic? You need a new trailer designated as “the patriotic trailer” to drive that point home? I’m just saying. Anyways, check out the latest minute-long spot and a groovy new poster for “Red Dawn”, saving America later this month on November 21, 2012.

In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky – shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target. Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation. Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters. Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas, Josh Peck, Brett Cullen, Matt Gerald, Will Yun Lee, Michael Beach, Connor Cruise, and directed by Dan Bradley.
