New Poster and One Badass Trailer for Marco Mak’s Naked Soldier

It’s been almost one year ago to the day that we last covered director Marco Mak’s hot chick-oriented action endeavor “Naked Soldier”, another upcoming motion picture which features action choreography from Corey Yuen. The latest poster — which has been lovingly installed to the left — looks to carry on in the tradition of “Naked Weapon”, the Wong Jing-produced cheesefest starring the the gorgeous Maggie Q. Chinese movie-goers will finally have an opportunity to see the flick when it arrives in theaters this summer.

In case you’ve forgotten, here’s what the flick is about:

Interpol agent CK Long busted a billion-dollar drug deal fifteen years ago. The cartel has avenged itself by hiring Madame Rose’s organization of assassins to kill CK Long’s entire family. In revenge, she kills the entire family of chief investigator CK Long. Long himself survives, and believes his young daughter is still alive. In fact, for these fifteen years, the girl has been kidnapped by Madame Rose, brainwashed and trained into beautiful, sexy killer Phoenix.

Phoenix has now become the top-ranked killer in Madame Rose’s organization. She is skilled in combat, and always completes her missions. Thanks to her band of killers, Madame Rose has expanded her criminal organization, and now assigns missions in many parts of the world. CK Long has never imagined that he would one day become the target of his own daughter’s mission.

“Naked Soldier”, which stars Jenn Tse, Sammo Hung, Philip Ng, Ankie Beilke, and Andy, opens in theaters on July 26th, 2012. The latest batch of trailers for the curvy, gun-totting motion picture lie below. They’re pretty badass, so if I were you, I’d wait to take my shower until after you’ve wet yourself. Just a suggestion.

About Todd Rigney

View all Posts

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.

I usually dig this kind of stuff, but I actually felt a little bored watching that trailer.
