Also, here’s the first poster for Oliver Stone’s “Savages”. The film stars John Carter himself, Taylor Kitsch and Kick Ass aka Aaron Johnson, playing pot growers who face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend, played by Blake Lively. “Finally, the Son of Coul gets some respect!”.
Yep! Hope he will at some point get his own movie.

I don’t think he’ll get a movie, but I would hope so he get to be part of Marvel’s comic continuity.

And of course, I hope Coulson keeps coming for the future Marvel movies.

Showing up in the amazing comic tie-ins to Avengers is a good first step. Being in the “Ultimate Spiderman” cartoon is another. As much as I want the S.H.I.E.L.D. flick to be about Fury, Coulson needs to be in it. He’d have to be holding down the hellicarrier with Maria Hill.

Why would Agent Coulson get his own movie? He’s a tiny player. What would he do? Would it be an action movie? What would he do there, just shoot guns? That’s not a superhero. Maybe it could be a comedy where the plot is that he spends his time tracking down superheroes who don’t want to join. OK I realized that sucks while i wrote it.

Actually that is kind of a cool idea for a spin-off or extra between the upcoming films. After Avengers there is Ironman 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2. That will be the fourth film for RDJ and third for Hemsworth and Evans. They may not decide to re-up for more films. That being said, they’ll need more characters to round out the team. Granted there may be a few more players introduced within those films and returning from other properties (posssibly Ant-Man and Wasp, Black Widow, Hawkeye, etc.)
A short in the vein of the other two Marvel One Offs (‘Something Happened On The Way To Thor’s Hammer’ and ‘The Consultant’) with Coulson trying to recruit members of the Marvel universe for The Avengers 2.0 with varying degrees of success would be very cool!

Agreed, plus it could be an even cooler intro for characters like Wasp, Ms. Marvel, etc. I’d love to have Coulson trying to recruit someone like Wonder Man or something.

YES! That would be so cool! I’d play Wonder Man as a prisoner in one of S.H.I.E.LD.’s secret holding facilities (the raft, the cube, the vault, etc.) Having been captured during his breif turn as a villain. Coulson offers him clemency if he opts to join the team. Coulson going into Harlem to recruit Luke Cage would be pretty fun to see too! Lol.
