Vikings TV Show Title

The History Channel has released a new 30-second promo spot for their latest “historical fiction” original scripted TV show “Vikings”, starring Gabriel Byrne and Travis Fimmel (last seen blowing shit up in “The Baytown Outlaws”), not to mention Fox regular Jessalyn Gilsig (“Prison Break”).

So what’s it all about?

The show will chart the ambitions of young Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok, played by Australian actor Travis Fimmel, who longs to discover civilisations across the ocean. With the help of his jester friend Floki, played by Gustaf Skarsgard (The Way Back), they build a new generation of boats; that are faster, sleeker and more beautifully crafted than anything else on the sea.

Here’s the new promo spot, titled, “Legend”.

The Vikings conquer all March 3rd on the History Channel.

*sigh* as much as I want to see this show, I’m scared the History Channel is going to be like MTV soon, showing a lot of stuff except the one thing it was named for.
