New Regency & Josephson Entertainment Pick-Up The Sisters Grimm

sisters-grimm.jpg(Article by Robert Lewis) From a logical standpoint it makes sense. In all likelihood, The Brothers Grimm had some womanly descendants tacked up to their family trees. They wouldn’t be around if they didn’t, right? Variety is the first to break news that the family-friendly production house New Regency Productions and Josephson Entertainment (the folks responsible for that dreaded Like Mike) have purchased the film rights to Michael Buckley’s children’s horror/fantasy/sci-fi tales “The Sisters Grimm“.

Barry Josephson is seeing over production on the first entry of a planned franchise that will feature the adventures — scratch that, misadventures for a better word — of sisters Daphne and Sabrina Grimm as they move from one strange terrain to another in search of their missing parents. Could it be that they cross paths with Heath Ledger and Matt Damon? Harry Potter and his girl Hermoine, too? Probably not, but theres always the siblings from Chronicles of Narina, right?

I love this series so much! It is better than any other series. Better than Harry Potter.(in my opinion) I wish I could find out who is playing Sabrina, Daphne, and Puck (and all the rest) because i want them to be good for the part.

People, people, don’t worry, I am writing the screen play, and I am directing it too, really, and if you have any questions on the movie, just reply on this comment, and if you are interested in doing anything, such as producing or anything like that, then just do the same. Thank you

      • Casey S.

Obviously Raven is not directing. How old are you? How many years of acting? I’ve been training since I was four with two established companies.

No, you’re not producing it or writing the screen play, Raven. LIER! Barry Josephson is producing it and Michael Buckley is writing it. I have to play Sabrina, I’m eleven, have NATURAL blonde hair, blue eyes, her personality, everything. So if you are some kind of professional, when and where are the auditions?

    • Casey S.

Some people are indeed professionals. And you don’t have much of a chance of getting in if you’re only eleven. An older girl probably has a better chance of getting in. How are you professional? I’ve got a movie and two lead play roles clinging to me, as well as auditions for Beauty and the Beast in Feb. Please, what have you got?

  • Logan

I mean Barry Josephson is producing and directing, sorry.
