New Scream 4 Movie Poster Debuts Amidst Reshoot News

New poster for Wes Craven’s “Scream 4″, which as we speak, is undergoing some reshoots ahead of the film’s April opening. Apparently the opening kill scene wasn’t opening kill scene cool enough, or some such. Being that the “Scream” movies are very well known for their opening kill scenes, this would seem like a prudent course of action. Of course, if Kevin Williamson really was as hip as he claims, he would eschew the opening kill scene with a non opening kill scene. Know what I mean?

In Scream 4, Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (played by Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox-Arquette, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Mary McDonnell, Marley Shelton, Nico Tortorella, Marielle Jaffe, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Lucy Hale, Shanae Grimes, Aimee Teegarden, Brittany Robertson and directed by Wes Craven.

Stabbing again April 15, 2011.
