Fresh off last week’s “Solomon Kane” Hall of Mirrors clip, here’s another one from Michael J. Bassett’s fantasy/action movie, which features the Crowthorn family (played by Rachel Hurd-Wood, Pete Postlethwaite, and Alice Krige) being captured in the forest by the bad guys, led by a fellow wearing what looks like a badly sewn-on hood, with Kane (James Purefoy) racing to the rescue. Or at least, we hope he picks up a sword, cause things look like they’re about to get pretty messy.
Based on the creation of Robert E. Howard, the creator of “Conan” and “Kull”, Solomon Kane is a 16th century Puritan who owes his soul to the devil, forcing him to redeem himself by fighting evil.
