New Star Trek Into Darkness Pic Features a Revealing Threesome

In the pic below, you’ll see Zachary Quinto as Spock, Chris Pine as Kirk, and new villain Benedict Cumberbatch as … John Harrison? Who the hell is John Harrison? I have no idea, but in the official image that Paramount has released, Cumberbatch’s character is identified as one “John Harrison”.

I’ve seen plenty of “Star Trek” episodes, but the name John Harrison doesn’t ring any bells. Cumberbatch was largely believed to be playing Khan from the second “Star Trek” movie, and the recently released teaser trailer that featured the ‘Batch doing all kinds of damage didn’t seem to refute that.

Of course, whose to say “John Harrison” doesn’t decide to change his name later on in the film?

“Star Trek Into Darkness” also stars Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Peter Weller, and Bruce Greenwood, and takes off May 17, 2013.

Probably along those lines with a bit of manipulation like they did with John Rhys Davies’ voice for Treebeard.

      • ErickKwon

I think his voice could go au natural and be perfectly fine for Smaug

  • Aegon the Conqueror

Nah he doesn’t look that scary a villain.

I wonder if John Harrison is like John Blake in “TDKR”–a peripheral minor character that probably showed up for one scene or was mentioned in passing in one episode of an episode back in the day.

I can’t believe everybody really thought Khan was going to be the villain in this movie. I mean really!!

Khan Noonien Singh was a character with a middle eastern name and played by a latino actor. To cast the whitest of the whitest actors around to play him would have been an insult. That, and also the fact that most of the important events with Khan took place when all the characters were older.

Remember… Abrahams Star Trek takes place in the same time as the Tv Series.

Anyway, after so much search, it seems to be that the villain will actually be Lt. Gary Mitchell, whom appear in an episode named “Where no man has gone before”. In it, Mitchell (whom works for the Federation) is left for dead in Delta Vega (I think), and he gain God-Like powers. Afterwards he comes back for vengeance upon those who left him behind.

That scene at the end of the Japanese trailer, where Spock is giving the Vulcan hand shake to someone through a glass… For sure is Mitchell dying.
