New Thor Clip Reveals that Like Us, Thor is Scared of Hospitals, Too

New clip from Marvel’s “Thor”, which will either look like the second coming of “Battlefield Earth”, or the greatest Marvel Comics movie starring the God of Thunder since he invaded that “Incredible Hulk” TV movie wearing the manfur. Honestly, at this point I think it’s 50-50.

Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Starring Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson, Rene Russo, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Tadanobu Asano, Adriana Barraza, Joshua Dallas, Matt Battaglia and directed by Kenneth Branagh.

Taking it on the buttocks May 6, 2011.

It’s scenes like this that make me excited for the film over the action heavy stuff. We know they can do blockbuster crazy action, but its the character mometns that really matter. I read a review of some footage that premiered at Kapow con, and they said the full scene f Thor’s banishment is very powerful and emotional and that Hopkins nailed the part, and that Hemsworth was really good as well.
