I’m a few days late delivering the latest trailer for “Wu Xia”, which is kind of sad given how undeniably cool the latest video is. Additionally, a few nifty behind-the-scenes/promotional videos — including a clip that contains roughly 9 minutes of footage from the film — have made their way online, all of which can be found lurking below. “Wu Xia”, which stars Donnie Yen, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Tang Wei, Jimmy Wang Yu, and Kara Hui, is now scheduled to open in China on July 28th, 2011. Here’s hoping we get an English-subtitled DVD by the end of the year. I can’t wait!
Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd@beyondhollywood.com.
It feels like forever since there was a period wu xia movie out. Just saw The Lost Bladesman again now that’s on blu-ray just to get a kung fu fix. I don’t even like Donnie Yen, but at this point, i’ll take anything.

Hmm, i haven’t seen that many new asian movie releases. The last new one i saw was “the man from nowhere”. Could some more asian releases to fill in the time between the hollywood releases.
