I think it’s kind of curious that Kellan Lutz’s Hercules doesn’t say a single word until the 90-second mark in this new, 2-minute and change trailer for Renny Harlin’s “The Legend of Hercules”, don’t you? I mean, he’s only the lead in the movie, and he’s onscreen pretty much the entire time. What, does he not say anything in the whole movie until toward the end? I doubt that. And even when he does talk in the trailer, he only has, from what I see, two lines. Should we read something into this, er, rather odd approach to the final trailer for “The Legend of Hercules”? You decide.
Until then, take a look at a new, final trailer and some new images from the movie.
In the epic origin story THE LEGEND OF HERCULES, Kellan Lutz stars as the mythical Greek hero — the son of Zeus, a half-god, half-man blessed with extraordinary strength. Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules must use his formidable powers to fight his way back to his rightful kingdom. Through harrowing battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary odyssey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land.
Starring Kellan Lutz, Scott Adkins, Liam McIntyre, Liam Garrigan, Jonathan Schaech, Roxanne McKee, Gaia Weiss, and Rade Serbedzija.
